Late Thursday afternoon the middle and high school girls met with Lynne, an adult volunteer from Georgia, to talk about God's will for opposite-sex relationships. Amid lots of questions and discussion (no shyness here), the girls discovered that sex is God's good creation inside of marriage. One girl in particular grew quiet, then shared her story. The Holy Spirit was moving and wooing as this 14-year-old girl heard how God's love was reaching for her and offering her new life. After talking alone with the adult leader, the girl received Jesus Christ.
"I am so happy!" she wept, as they finished praying.
Please pray as this new believer gets into God's word and starts her adventure of knowing and enjoying God. She has no church background, so please ask God to lead her to a great church family. Finally, ask the Father to provide a Godly older woman to disciple her.
