We worshipped at Uptown Community Church

Teams have arrived

Yesterday starting at 6am clear through 8pm, Trinity Pres, Cornerstone Pres, Debbie, Leah and Melissa (individuals joining us this week) poured into the city. They all arrived safely and are now out seeing the city! Please pray for us as we all start serving at the Exodus summer program tomorrow bright and early!!!

It seems everyone from GA is going to NYC

Following up Cory's post, I am heading back to New York City in the morning, hoping not to have the same experience. This will be my fourth and longest trip to New York this year. This time I will be staying for seven weeks (with the exception of a one day meeting I have to attend back in Atlanta). I am looking forward to being in New York longer this time verses the coming and going I have been doing. I think by the end of the trip I will be able to call myself a New Yorker, right?

I am greatly looking forward to serving with over hundred volunteers this summer! Summer program being July 7th!

Until next time,

Spring Break Mission Team

After about seven months Mission to the World will be returning to Operation Exodus with our first mission team of 2008! A group from Chino, CA will be spending their Easter/Spring Break serving at Operation Exodus. I am flying up tomorrow and meeting them Friday night. I am eager to see the staff and kids again as well as meet this new team. We will be painting, organizing the library and tutoring at the after school program. I hope to try to post a bit while I am gone if not I will do so when I return. Pray for us, we would greatly appreciate it!

And also be praying for the many teams that are preparing to come this summer, I do believe we are up to nine teams of volunteers for the summer program! Praise the Lord for these groups and pray for them as they prepare and raise support to come. Until next time,
Bobbi Jo
